No trip to New Zealand’s breathtaking South Island would be complete without a visit to some of the most incredible vineyards…
We arrived in El Salvador. We’d heard this was a famous surfers spot and a new and upcoming top backpackers chill out. We were really looking forward to it but we had zero expectations. What we found with Tunco Life was one of our favourite countries in all 10 months of backpacking.
We were in literal paradise. A starfish beach? I mean really. San Blas Adventures had out done themselves! It really was THE MOST EPIC way to travel to Central from South America.
We arrived at the Peruvian border only a few minutes after leaving Copacabana in Bolivia. We couldn’t believe it. Country 7 in South America already.
We boarded a bus from Cochabamba headed to La Paz, the highest administrative capital in the world famous for its public transportation in the skies. We were pretty excited but had no idea what to expect.
Bolivian carnival. FOAM.EVERYWHERE. Possibly the most crazy and drunken experience yet?
We arrived back to our hotel. All i wanted to do was look at our photos and tell everyone about it. So so incredible. Something amazing happened that day honestly.
So it was time to move on to another exciting part of Chile we had both been really looking forward to. The Atacama Desert.
Valparaíso was nothing short of absolute dreams. From the minute we arrived we fell in love.
We drew closer to the Chilean border in The Andes. The border control was probably the most beautiful we have and ever will see. The ‘Welcome to Chile’ sign was framed by incredible mountains.
